The 2008-2009 chapter officers for the Land Run Professionals Chapter were installed in June. Conducting the installation
was Sandy Tabio, A-O Division Treasurer, and Linda Williams CPS/CAP, Assistant to the Division President. Officers as
shown above are Stella Gilbert CPS/CAP - President, Diana Richardson - Vice President, Sharon Schonthaler CPS/CAP - Secretary,
and Jimmie Lou Feher - Treasurer.

Member Becomes State Auxiliary President
Sue Heil, new member of the Land Run Professionals, was elected Oklahoma Department
American Legion Auxiliary President for 2007.

Hare, outgoing Oklahoma Department ALA President, while attending the National Convention in Reno, Nevada.

Member Receives President's Excellence Award
Mary Kay Jennings, a charter member of the Land Run Professionals and 2004-2005 President, was awarded the
President's Excellence Award by Dr. James Halligan, President of Oklahoma State University, at the 2004 OSU
Fall Convocation.
Each year, President Halligan selects one staff member, one faculty member, and one administrator to receive
this award. He selects these people personally for their outstanding work, going above and beyond their job duties.
