Vision:

            To inspire, equip and assist administrative professionals to attain excellence.

 

Mission:

            The Mission of the Land Run Professionals Chapter is to grow IAAP membership (at the local, division, district, and international level) by serving both our current and prospective members through networking, training, effective programming, and increasing awareness of the many benefits available to both members and their employers.

 

Purpose:

            To help administrative professionals develop and fulfill their personal and professional potential and to ensure recognition of the profession in the workplace.

 

Action Plans

 

Action Plan #1:  Communicate Membership Value               

Objective #1:  Update and distribute the chapter brochure to potential members and associates.

Objective #2:  Inform potential members and associates of programs, services, leadership opportunities and the value of IAAP membership.

Objective #3:  Focus on membership and emphasize both recruitment and retention; mentor new members.

 

Action Plan #2:  Strengthen the Chapter

Objective #1: Encourage focus on professional development.

Objective #2:  Increase the consistency and quality of leadership; identify members’ strengths and draw upon them to grow the chapter.

Objective #3:  Establish a plan of succession for chapter leadership.

 

Action Plan #3:  Expand Networking Opportunities

Objective #1:  Urge members to attend IAAP events and network with other chapter/division members.

Objective #2:  Outreach to administrative professionals and employers in the local community.

 

Action Plan #4:  Market the Certification Programs

Objective #1:  Encourage members to take advantage of the professional certification opportunity available to them.

Objective #2:  Provide activities and programs to assist current CPS and CAP holders in their recertification efforts.
