IAAP is the PREMIER association for Career-Minded Administrative Professionals (CMAPs)! CMAPs
maximize the value of IAAP membership through continuous professional development, information networks, and leadership opportunities
to achieve measurable standards of excellence. They demonstrate professionalism and advance a positive image of the
profession and their employer organizations.
The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) is the world's largest association
of administrative support staff, with over 600 chapters and 40,000 members and affiliates worldwide. For over 60 years,
IAAP has provided up-to-date research on office trends, cutting-edge publications, outstanding seminars and conferences, and
top-notch resources to help administrative professionals enhance their skills and become more effective contributors to their
employers.
Land Run Professionals is the local chapter of IAAP, and we are located in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Our usual meeting location
is the Alumni Conference Room, Room 115, in McElroy Hall, which is located on the Oklahoma State University campus at
the corner of McFarland and Farm Road. For special programs, the location and/or time change will be listed on the Upcoming
Programs and Activities page along with the topic and speaker.
IAAP offers professional education opportunities, professional certification with the Certified Professional Secretary®
(CPS®) exam and the Certified Administrative Professional® (CAP®) exams, OfficePRO® Magazine and OfficePRO
Express E-Newsletter, personal and professional development resources, local and international networking opportunities, a
world-class web site ( http://www.iaap-hq.org/), affinity programs and services, and service/support from IAAP Headquarters.
